The Empty Common Garden Room was designed by NEUBAU and executed by year 1 students at the Department of Architecture in Cambridge, as part of a live-project brief. The students embraced the challenge of engaging with the design and building process with much enthusiasm, and manufactured infill walls from found and recycled materials on low budget – as clearly documented by the end of year presentation on site.
