Twin Sisters T&I approached NEUBAU to design a sustainable Home for 4 in a location peripheral to Impington, Cambridgeshire, within walking distance of work. We instantly connected on a mutual respect for Lina Bo Bardi, our admiration for the Clients’ definitions of Lifestyle, with an ambitious brief to combine Cohabitation with a Farm on a budget. We decided to extend on the agricultural agenda and develop a Business plan which was hatched by the Client to accompany our Design for high-Density/Intensity Permaculture including vertical mobile growing units, a landscape of raised plant beds and an orchard.
